Locals call it Down Below, our grandfathers' said 'it wasn't the end of the world, but you could see it from there,' to owner, Amanda Bramble, it felt like home. Sunday afternoons Amanda enjoyed supper at her grandparents home in the lower county. When deciding what type of menu she would serve up at J&S, there was only one she was passionate about, her grandmother's. It is our hope that you can create your own unforgetable memories with your friends and family at our tables.
Our restaurant is available for private events: weddings, business lunches, dinners, cocktail receptions, and more. There is also a private second floor event room seating 20 - 200 guests as well as off site catered options. We would love to discuss how to be a part of your next event.
We refuse to compromise on quality in our restaurant. We make the things you eat right here, no short cuts.... and seafood, that's where we get excited! All of our crabmeat is LOCAL MD BLUE CRAB, just like our grandfather's caught and our gramdmother's picked. We even have a small family farm we source some of our noted menu items from. Our staff takes pride in the quality and effort that goes into our menus, from the ingredients to the plating. Come taste why!
